The essentials: I live in Chicago. I’m into reading, writing, typography, advertising, marketing, and an occasional movie.
(Not always in that order.)
I was born and raised in Vermont.
Educated at the University thereof.
I majored in the study of English language and literature. Minored in Studio Art (mostly video production and graphic design) and Political Science (mostly theory).
Then I spent several years freelancing and working retail — let’s call it in-the-trenches research.
I moved to Chicago in the fall of 2005. Started writing online copy professionally in early 2006.
